Affecting Other - Affecting a small number of Amphora Connect customers
Dear Wivenhoe customers,
Yesterday, Wednesday 18th March at approximately 17:30, a power outage in Wivenhoe was reported by UKPN (UK Power Networks). This affected one of the fibre network segments, initially failing over to battery backup. The backup battery has since depleted resulting in a complete power down of the network segment.
UKPN are working on the power outage. Until a permanent fix is put in place by UKPN, our network engineers will be replacing the flat backup batteries with charged batteries this morning. We will update you once this activity is complete.
